Résumé

The primary concern of this article is to describe the human psychologicaldevelopment processes and the necessary steps that are associated with the humanaspects of learning and behavior from a Yup'ik point of view. The purpose is to definehow the Indigenous pedagogy embraces epistemological learning tools in family,community, and academic environment to develop child's awareness and prosperity.The key messages are delivered by providing personal examples that I have learnedfrom my own family and village in Southwestern Alaska.
