Résumé

Recent initiatives to revitalize Hawaiian language, culture, and values have includedspecific programs for children. One such endeavor is the Aha Punana, a languageimmersion program supported by legislation passed by the state of Hawaii. Thisarticle describes the Aha Punana Leo program as well as other culturally relevantprograms and services that have focused on providing quality service to children andtheir families.
