Best practice and evidence-based practice have become familiar terms in ECCD bothin North America and around the world. However, when one looks beneath thesurface to determine how these concepts are determined or constructed, questionsarise about the degree to which Indigenous Peoples are represented in thesedeterminations and in subsequent findings. The authors explore these terms from anIndigenous perspective and discuss implications for service providers.
