Andrew McEwan, Brock University

Andrew McEwan is a PhD candidate at Brock University and where he researches self-representations of mental illness and mental disability in contemporary avant-garde literatures. He is the author of the books repeater (a finalist for the 2013  Gerald Lampert Memorial Award) and If Pressed, as well as numerous chapbooks, including Conditional and Can’t tell if this book is depressing or if I’m just sad.  His  critical writings have appeared in the anthologies Literatures of Madness: Disability Studies and Mental Health and Imaginary Safe House
