Images and Supplemental Media
Canadian Literature does not publish poems or reviews with supplementary images. Upon occasion, when it is vital to the argument of the paper, we might include images in an article.
It is the author’s responsibility to obtain written permission to use copyrighted material, photographs, or artwork that may be included in their work. The author is also responsible for paying permission fees and costs of reproduction. When obtaining permission, emphasize that this journal is a not-for-profit publication. Fees may be lower for educational publications than for commercial publications. Your request will need to include print and web permissions, since your work will be published on our website and in a print journal.
Canadian Literature is available online through EBSCO, Gale, and ProQuest Subscription Services. Visual supplements will not be included in the aggregator version of your work.
