Jeff Fedoruk is a PhD Candidate and SSHRC CGS Doctoral scholar in the Department of English and Cultural Studies at McMaster University. His dissertation project examines the relationship between cultural production and gentrification in Canadian cities, with a particular interest in how the gentrifying thrust of “creative city” planning skews neighbourhood histories of labour and lived experience.
