Abstract

The preparation for an adult Indigenous language learning journey is explored in thisarticle by blending autoethnographic methodology with Indigenous research methods.Themes such as spiritual preparation, truth in telling one's families stories, the role ofintegrity, and the exposure experienced through authoethography are discussed. Theauthor concludes by acknoivledging the emergence of new Indigenous research para­digms and their potential for knowledge creation.
