Our images of social change err on the side of organized, collective and public actions and, as such, it is easy to miss the power of everyday resistance to support social change and class struggle. This paper describes everyday resistance, with examples of everyday resistance in the lived experience of schools. Although everyday resistance is individual, local and small, through accumulation and narrative storytelling these acts not only impact the quotidian life, but potentially larger social change and class struggle.
