Author Biography

Muna Dahir

Muna Dahir is a PhD candidate in Gender Studies at Queen’s University, where she also completed her MA. She also earned a BA in Anthropology from the University of Toronto Scarborough. Drawing on Black studies, Black feminist thought, and anti-colonial critique, her research constellates Black feminist methods of archiving, documenting, and creative production in order to explore narratives of the past, historical authorship, intellectual genealogies, cultural memory, power, and resistance.
