Author Biography

Chris Hutchinson, MacEwan University

I am the author of four poetry books as well as the speculative autobiography-in-verse novel Jonas in Frames (Goose Lane Editions). My most recent poetry collection, In the Vicinity of Riches, was published by icehouse poetry in the spring of 2020, and my poetry chapbook, Meanwhile, Myrmidons, was just published this summer by Anstruther Press (Toronto). 

I hold a PhD in Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Houston and presently serve as Assistant Professor in the English Department at MacEwan University in Treaty 6 territory, Edmonton, AB.
