Abstract

This piece focuses on Marta Dvořák's reading to Mavis Gallant (when she lost her sight) from Margaret Laurence, Hemingway, and her own stories. Gallant's comments as a listener add more layers to the writing whose feats in tempo and frequency Dvořák spotlights.
