Emily Wall is an Associate Professor of Creative Writing at the University of Alaska Southeast in Juneau, Alaska. She has been published in many journals in Canada (Northern Review, Room of One’s Own, Jones Av) and in the U.S. (Prairie Schooner, Alaska Quarterly Review, Room). She has two books of poetry (Liveaboardand Freshly Rooted) published by the Irish press Salmon Poetry and a third book, Breaking Into Air: Birth Poems, forthcoming from Red Hen Press.
