The Field Speaks of its Persistence

Leslie Timmins’ chapbook, The Limits of Windows, about the art of Henri Matisse, was published by The Alfred Gustav Press in 2014. Her poems have been shortlisted for the Montreal International Poetry Prize, won honours in Freefall magazine’s annual poetry contest, and appeared in magazines such as Vallum, WomenArts Quarterly (University of Missouri), The Fiddlehead, The Malahat Review, Event, Literary Review of Canada, the anthologies Global Poetry Anthology (Vehicule Press, 2011), A Verse Map of Vancouver (Anvil, 2009), and Cradlesong (upcoming Leaf Press).
