I am a graduate of the Creative Writing Department at Concordia University, located in Montreal. Although I lived in Montreal for eight years I have recently re-located to Toronto, closer to my hometown. I am twenty-seven years old and have been writing almost my entire life. Most of my writing from the past three years is heavily focused on the human experience from an environmental persepctive, specifically how the environment engages with humankind and likewise. I have a great appreciation for the inherent tension of the natural world. I have been published in a few small online literary journals and was a finalist for the Irving Layton Poetry award in 2013.
