Jon R. Flieger’s work has appeared in CV2, The Malahat Review, Descant, Matrix, Rampike, The Capilano Review, The Danforth Review, The Windsor Review, filling Station, and the Momaya Press Fiction Annual 2011. He was the winner of The Capilano Review’s 2013 Narative Contest, the 2011 Norma Epstein national award for fiction, and has been a finalist for the Howard O’ Hagan and Hudson prizes for fiction. His book Never Sleep with Anyone from Windsor (Black Moss, 2007) won the Orison award. He has critical articles forthcoming in anthologies from Wilfred Laurier and Guernica. He holds degrees from Windsor and Calgary and is currently attending Oxford. He is afraid of bees.
