Author Biographies

Alyssa Tobin, The Exploration Place

Alyssa Tobin is the Curator at The Exploration Place. A graduate of Simon Fraser University, her educational focus has been in Archaeology, Conservation, and First Nations Studies. She has spent several years both in the field, working as an archaeologist, and in the Curatorial Department at The Exploration Place.

Tracy Calogheros, The Exploration Place

Tracy Calogheros has been the CEO at The Exploration Place since 2003. During the 1990’s, she was instrumental in the repositioning of the museum to expand their traditional archival and curatorial work to include their present roles as a Science Centre, Natural History Museum and as the Lheidli T’enneh Nation’s Official Repository.  Some of Ms. Calogheros’ past roles have included board work for the BC Museums Association, Emily Carr University of Art and Design and The Canadian Association of Science Centres.
