How COVID-19 changed the landscape of medical school admissions

Abstract

Canadian medical school admissions were not immune to the unprecedented arrival of coronavirus-2019 (COVID-19). This commentary reports on the successes and failures of the 2019/2020 application cycle. It also provides a critical yet optimistic view of how COVID-19 may shape of future of aspiring medical students.
