Climate Change, Energy Equity & the Millennium Development Goals

Abstract


Climate change and global poverty are two of the greatest global justice issues of our time and deeply interconnected. For any progress in development to be made in the 21st century the issue of climate change adaptation must be addressed. Likewise, efforts to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions must take into account rising emissions coming from the developing economies as millions rise out of poverty and improve health status.
