HIV/Hepatitis C Stigma in Healthcare
Abstract
Stigma is a major barrier experienced by persons living with HIV or Hepatitis C. One of the places where this stigmatization is encountered the most is in the healthcare system. Disability Alliance British Columbia is using an educational strategy to combat this problem.
