Author Biography

Erinn Beth Moffatt Langille

Erinn Beth Langille is an award-winning writer based in Nova Scotia and Italy, with degrees from Dalhousie (BA), NSCAD (BA, BFA) and the University of Essex (MA). She co-founded and directs the creative programming at Lemon Tree House Residency in Tuscany, and has published in national magazines and newspapers including Bad Day, Maclean’s and the National Post. Her short story “The Crossing” won the 2014 Penguin Random House U of Toronto Student award for Fiction. Most recently, she was a featured poet at the Universal Dawn reading series in Sackville, NB, in 2016; two poems are being published in the Fall 2017 Frog Hollow Press chapbook The City Series: Number 5- Halifax; and her poem ‘Take Away the Bells’, a commission by the artist William Robinson, was cast as a bronze plaque and displayed at the National Gallery of Canada from October 2016 until February 2017.
